How to set the MTC simulator on MathShed
Instructions are below for both versions of the EdShed site.
The new EdShed site ....
1. Go to the assignments area and click 'Create Assignment'.
2. Choose your Group/Pupils
3. Select your subject 'Maths' and 'single assignment'
4. Select 'practice' from the assignment mode.
5. Choose 'fluency' then 'MTC'.
6. Choose whether to tick 'limit lists' and enter the games required if needed
7. Choose dates you want the assignment to be available to the pupils
8. Give it a title and add any other teachers who may need to view this assignment.
The old EdShed site ....
To use the MTC in MathShed, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the assignments area and click 'Create Assignment'.
2. Choose your assignment type, which is 'MathShed Fluency'.
3. For 'Maths Question Type' select 'MTC' then 'Year 4 MTC Simulator' from the drop-down.
4. Finally, add pupils and teachers.
